Peningkatan Kualitas Pendidikan Dasar Melalui Program Bimbingan Belajar dan Pengadaan Perpustakaan Keliling di Kota Merauke

Abstract

Quality basic education is an important foundation in human resource development. A service programme focusing on improving the quality of basic education through tutoring and mobile library provision has been implemented in Merauke City. The programme aims to address limited access to reading materials and learning support outside of school hours. The socialisation results showed high enthusiasm from the community, while the implementation of tutoring significantly improved students' academic performance. The provision of mobile libraries successfully increased students' reading interest and parents' participation in the learning process. The analysis shows the importance of effective public communication and collaboration between the government, schools and communities in the success of the programme. The programme reflects the principles of good governance and inclusive and participatory education policies. The success of this programme demonstrates that structured and collaborative education interventions can bring about sustainable positive change. With the commitment and support of all parties, the quality of basic education in Merauke City can continue to improve, providing hope and a better future for the younger generation.
