Pelatihan E-Government untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Pemuda dalam Pengelolaan Teknologi Pemerintahan Digital di Kota Merauke

Abstract

The e-government training organized for youth in Merauke City aims to introduce and improve their understanding of the application of technology in digital government. With the development of technology, e-government is one way to improve efficiency and transparency in public services. However, in Merauke City, there is still a limited understanding of e-government among the community, especially the younger generation. This activity involved more than 50 participants from various backgrounds, who were taught through a combination of theory sessions, practical exercises, group discussions, and the creation of e-government application projects. The results of the training showed that participants better understood how e-government can improve the quality of public services. Most participants successfully operated the e-government applications taught, although some still needed time to master advanced features. Discussions and case studies also helped participants identify various technological solutions to address challenges in Merauke City, such as administrative services and public complaints. At the end of the training, participants designed an e-government application concept that suits their local needs, showing great potential for innovation. Overall, the training was successful in increasing the skills and awareness of Merauke City youth about their role in supporting digital transformation in government. Although there are still challenges related to infrastructure, the youth are expected to be agents of change who bring technological advances in the Merauke government going forward.
