Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Melalui KIM: Meningkatkan Akses Informasi di Kampung Kwell

Community empowerment through Community Information Groups (KIM) is an effort to improve access to information in the village, especially in supporting village development and community welfare. The main problem faced is the lack of access to information that can increase knowledge and active participation of the community in development. The purpose of this research is to explore the role of KIM in improving access to information in the village and its impact on community empowerment. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results showed that KIM plays an important role in improving access to information related to government programmes, education, health, and economic opportunities. KIM also succeeded in increasing community participation in village activities and strengthening social networks between residents. In addition, KIM helps communities overcome information gaps by utilising available communication technology. The conclusion of this study is that community empowerment through KIM can improve the quality of life and strengthen community participation in village development.
