Article Processing Charges

Article Processing Charge (APC)

The Journal of Political and Development Issues (JPDI) charges an article processing fee (APC) of Rp 150,000 for each article that has been declared accepted and worthy of publication.

APC payments are used to support the issuance process, including:

  1. Editing and final examination of manuscripts;
  2. Similarity or plagiarism check;
  3. Preparation of the layout and format of the article;
  4. Management and maintenance of the OJS system;
  5. Registration and activation of Digital Object Identifier (DOI);
  6. Managing article metadata;
  7. Online publication of articles;
  8. Digital archiving and dissemination of articles; and
  9. Administrative management and improvement of the quality of journal publishing.

APC is only paid after the author receives  a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) or official notification that the article has been accepted. Manuscript submission, initial examination process, and review process by review partners are free of charge.

APC payments do not affect editorial decisions. All articles remain through a review process in accordance with JPDI's scientific standards, publication ethics, and editorial policies. Payment is not a guarantee that the manuscript will be accepted or published.

Once the payment is verified, the journal manager will proceed with the process of final editing, layout, DOI registration, publishing, and archiving of the article. Proof of payment is submitted to the journal manager through the official contact listed on the JPDI page.
