Papsel Economic Journal (PEJ) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal committed to publishing high-quality research in the fields of economics, business, accounting, and finance. The journal serves as a platform for disseminating original research articles, theoretical and conceptual studies, literature reviews, and case studies that contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge, professional practice, and evidence-based policymaking.

PEJ places particular emphasis on research addressing emerging markets, regional economic development, business innovation, digital transformation, innovations in accounting and finance, sustainability, and evidence-based public policy. The journal encourages interdisciplinary research that generates theoretical contributions, practical implications, and innovative solutions to contemporary economic and business challenges at the local, national, regional, and global levels.

Papsel Economic Journal is published three times a year.

PEJ uses a double-blind manuscript review process. With the double-blind review approach, the identities of the authors and reviewers are unknown to both parties.

PEJ conducts its editorial work using the Online Journal System (OJS). OJS is the system that systematically handles PEJ's double-blind review process. Once a manuscript is submitted through OJS, it is automatically entered and checked (by the journal manager) to ensure that the submission is complete and has been prepared according to the PER submission guidelines. Currently, a receipt for the manuscript will be sent to the correspondence author stating that the manuscript has been received and is being considered for publication.

Papsel Economic Journal provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Papsel Economic Journal is published by Papsel Riset dan Konsultan in collaboration with the Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) Universitas Musamus. This partnership aims to enhance academic quality, research dissemination, and the journal's practical impact.

The journal accepts manuscripts written in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
